Thomson Delphion
September 14, 2007 — The European Patent Office (EPO) has replaced the former INPADOC data feed with a new DocDB XML structure. The new feed through Delphion covers data received after September 14, 2007. The existing backfile of INPADOC data remains intact.

With this update, you will notice the following new features:
  • More updated records — Some of the updated records may include patents from the 1920s to the present
  • Normalized assignee names
  • ECLA classifications — ECLA “Y” codes have been added to cover new technological developments, e.g., nanotechnology
